The Patent Prosecution Highway (PPH) program and the new Patent Cooperation Treaty PPH (“PCT/PPH”) allow an applicant that is notified by a first patent office that at least one claim in an application is patentable, to request fast tract examination of a corresponding patent application filed in a second patent office.
